I believe people heal best when they feel safe enough to become more fully themselves.
My work as a counselor is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for the wisdom you carry within. I do not see therapy as a process of fixing you, because I do not believe you are broken. I see it as a relationship in which we make room for your experiences, seek to understand what has shaped you, and explore new possibilities for living with greater clarity, self-trust, and peace of mind.
Before entering private practice, I spent more than three decades in public service and professional roles centered on adult education, and supporting people through change. That experience deepened my respect for resilience, responsibility, and the complicated realities you carry into the counseling room.
I especially value working with people navigating major transitions: changes in health, relationships, work, family roles, belief systems, and the experience of growing older. Therapy may involve grief and struggle, but it can also make room for humor, tenderness, creativity, and renewed possibility.
My style is warm, collaborative, and gently direct. We will work at a pace that respects both your goals and your nervous system.
